Privacy

Your screenshots stay on your device. Paid access needs a small amount of account and payment information—not your image pixels.

Who operates GameShot

GameShot Cropper is provided under the GameShot Apps developer brand. Privacy and support requests can be sent to gameshot.apps@outlook.com.

Images and exports

Image selection, previews, cropping and export preparation run locally on your device. GameShot does not upload your selected image pixels to its server for processing. Originals are not overwritten. Gallery copies are created only when you select that action and grant permission. Sharing sends copies to the app or destination you choose, whose privacy rules then apply. Crop/export history is current-session data (in the phone app, unkept crops sit in temporary cache storage that GameShot clears on its next launch) unless you choose Keep on this device (Pro): kept batches—cropped copies and their crop details—are stored only in this browser’s site storage or in GameShot’s private app storage on your phone, until you remove them, clear site data or uninstall. Saved crops (Pro) store, on the device, each preset’s name, creation time and crop settings (mode, size/position or ratio/zoom/placement, centering and output format)—no image pixels. Neither is uploaded, synced or backed up by GameShot. Save to a folder writes copies only into the folder you pick. Saved downloads, folder files and gallery copies remain until you remove them.

Accounts and purchases

Free batches of up to three images do not require a GameShot login. For Pro, Manus sign-in supplies an account identifier, name and email. The server stores the identity needed to link your verified entitlement, purchase/provider identifiers, transaction status, date, amount/currency for your history, and processed-event identifiers. App Store purchases also use an account-binding token. These records support access restoration, refunds, fraud prevention and fulfillment; raw card data, API keys and raw purchase receipts are not stored as app records.

Payment providers

Web purchases use Stripe-hosted Checkout; your account name/email may be passed to Stripe to link the purchase. Card and wallet credentials are handled by the payment provider, not GameShot. Where configured, native iOS purchases are handled by Apple. Those providers have their own privacy notices. Pro access checks send account information and the batch count, not image pixels.

Cookies, local storage and infrastructure

Essential session cookies or secure device storage maintain sign-in and a short-lived private verifier protects login. The installable web edition may cache public app-shell files and fingerprinted bundled assets. It does not intentionally cache payment, account API, login, purchase-history or user-image responses. Hosting and authentication providers receive the connection information needed to deliver and secure the service. No advertising or marketing analytics SDK has been added to this app.

Retention and your choices

Close the session to clear unsaved crop/export history, remove kept batches and saved crops in the app (or clear site data / uninstall), remove saved copies yourself, and sign out to clear app sign-in. Minimal account, fulfillment and security records are retained while needed for paid access, refunds and applicable recordkeeping. To request access, correction or deletion of your app records, contact gameshot.apps@outlook.com; payment providers may retain records under their own policies and obligations. Do not email passwords, card numbers or identity documents.

Children and changes

GameShot is not directed at children under 13 and does not intentionally seek their personal information. Contact support if you believe such information was provided. This notice may change when the service changes; the updated date appears below.
